The submission for the Late Breaking News category will open on May 1st and close on May 15th to submit it.

Submission Procedure

You can find the information on the Call for Abstracts below.

To submit your abstract click here or on the button “Submit” above!

  • The title must be lowercase, with only the first letter in uppercase.
  • The maximum length of the abstract is 2500 characters.
  • Presenting authors can submit a maximum of two abstracts*
  • Authors can submit abstracts that were already presented in other conferences.

* Submission refers to the online submission on the submission platform. This phase is now closed.
Authors can only present one abstract during the conference. Presentation of an abstract refers to the fact of proposing an abstract as presenting author, whether as an oral presentation, as a flash talk or as a poster.

If more than one of your abstracts is accepted, at least one co-author of the second abstract will have to register for the conference before the deadline for the authors’ registration.

Please, note that only the abstracts of registered presenting authors will be inserted in the program. The registration to the Congress is considered completed only upon payment.

After having created your account on the Conftool submission platform you will be able to submit your abstract by clicking on “Your submissions”.

Choose the topic of your abstract and fill out the form.

Remember to press the “Save Submission” button on the second screen in order for your abstract to be considered for the reviewing process!

A topic for late-breaking news will be open in the next months. The date of the submission opening for this topic will be communicated as soon as possible.

The submission for this category will open on May 1st. The submission will be open for two weeks, until May 15th to submit it.

What can you submit for this category?
Last-minute research and news on any of the topics of the conference (as indicated in the Topics sheet before this one).

Authors of accepted contributions are required to register and pay a fee to attend the Conference, as well as cover their own travel to Bologna and accommodation costs in this city.

Without a completed registration to the Conference of at least one author, the contribution will not be included in the program.

Registrations of presenting authors must be done by 16th April 2023 (midnight CEST).

Please, note that the registration fee allows the presentation of only one contribution.
